Prof. Dr. Md. Mohsen Chowdhury is one of the most experienced best hepatobiliary surgeon doctors in Dhaka. He completed his MBBS from Chittagong Medical College in 1985 and FCPS in Surgery from BCPS in 1999. He also completed a clinical fellowship in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at National University Hospital, Singapore. His career includes serving as Registrar, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and finally Professor at BSMMU.

Currently, he is the Chairman (Ex) and Professor of the Department of Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic and Liver Transplantation Surgery at doctors at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital. He has advanced training from Tata Memorial Hospital (Mumbai), Sir Gangaram Hospital (Delhi), Medanta Medicity (Delhi), and Global Hospitals (Chennai).
